LOUZER Apparel & Embroidery is a small shop in Saint Louis. This page says plainly what this website collects and why. If anything here is unclear, email hello@iamlouzer.com and ask.
When you place an order
The order form asks for your name, email, and — if you want it shipped — an address, along with details of the job. We store that because we cannot make your order without it. It lives in our own database and is used to quote, produce, and deliver your work.
Order confirmations and status updates are sent by email through Resend. Payment, when it comes to that, happens on QuickBooks — we never see or store your card details.
We do not sell your information, and we do not send marketing you did not ask for.
The newsletter box is separate, and it is off unless you tick it. Placing an order does not put you on a mailing list. If you do tick it we record that you said yes and when, and you can change your mind at any time by replying to any email from us. Everything else we send — your order sheet, your quote, a proof, a shipping note — is about the job you asked us for, and arrives whether you tick the box or not.
When you just look around
We measure how the site is used so we can make it better — mainly whether people can find the order form and whether anything is confusing them.
- Vercel Analytics counts visits. It sets no cookies and does not identify anyone.
- Microsoft Clarity records how pages are used: where people click and scroll, and playback of anonymous sessions. It sets cookies.
- Our own visit log. When you open the site we record that a visit happened: which page you landed on, the name of the site that referred you if any (just the site's name, never the full link), whether you were on a phone or a computer, and the time. We do not store your IP address or your browser's details. Each visit gets a random reference so we can find its Clarity recording; that reference means nothing outside our own records and is not linked to you.
Form fields are masked. Clarity is configured so that what you type into the order form is never captured — a recording shows that a field was filled in, never what was put in it.
These run on this page only. Your invoice page and the shop's own dashboard carry no tracking at all.
Cookies and browser storage
Only Clarity sets cookies, and only for the measurement described above. We also keep that one random visit reference in your browser's session storage, which your browser discards when you close the tab.
Your browser can block all of it and the site will work exactly the same — the order form does not depend on any of it.
Keeping it
Order records are kept as business records, the way any shop keeps its invoices. Visit log entries are deleted after 90 days. Clarity keeps its own data for around thirty days. If you would like your details removed from our records, email us and we will do it.
Asking us anything
Questions, corrections, or a request to delete what we hold — hello@iamlouzer.com.
